Ohio State's offensive line coach joked about Michigan at OSU's spring kickoff luncheon

We love rivalry trash talk. Football is a whole lot more enjoyable when you can freely crack jokes at your most hated rival's expense.

And the trash talk is so much better when it's coming from the coaching staffs of teams, like the greatness that's been going on between South Carolina's Steve Spurrier and Clemson's Dabo Swinney.

Wednesday, Ohio State offensive line coach Ed Warinner had some fun at Michigan's expense at the Ohio State spring kickoff luncheon.

Burn, right? Well, maybe we're nitpicking, but it doesn't seem to have much basis in truth. Yes, Michigan's last Rose Bowl appearance was in 2007, but Ohio State last went in 2010. The Wolverines have gone to Pasadena 20 times while Ohio State has gone 14.

This one was better, especially because of Michigan's change in offensive schemes over the offseason.

Of course, Warinner then asked if the jokes wouldn't make it to Twitter. Too late.

Your move, Michigan. Maybe you can have Doug Nussmeier make some Ohio State jokes? It'd be a good way to get him introduced to the rivalry and really endear him to Michigan fans.
