Oklahoma was embarrassed at Final Four and Twitter showed no mercy
Villanova crushed Oklahoma in record-setting fashion Saturday afternoon in a national semifinal game in Houston as college hoops fans everywhere watched in disbelief.
The Wildcats advanced to the national title game Monday against either North Carolina or Syracuse after a 95-41 victory, the largest margin of victory in Final Four history.
No this wasn't Buster Douglas knocking out Mike Tyson or Holly Holm shocking Ronda Rousey. It was a battle of No. 2 seeds, both of which had been ranked among the top teams in the nation all season. But a blowout wasn't expected and one with an historic margin of victory was even less likely.
