Slugger Labbe's notebook took a ride on Paul Menard's car in practice

If you've ever left something on the top of your car and driven out of your garage or parking spot and think you're the only one who does that, don't worry, it happens to NASCAR teams too.

The notebook of Slugger Labbe, Paul Menard's crew chief, got left on Menard's car as he backed away from his stall during practice at Bristol on Friday. Impressively, it stayed on Menard's decklid as he left the pits and got onto the track, only flying off and exploding upon impact after Menard exited the corner.

Practice had to be halted so safety crews could pick up the pages from the notebook that hadn't been picked up on the grilles of other cars.
