Comedian Jordan Peele pokes fun at National Signing Day's best names
Comedian Jordan Peele of Comedy Central's "Key & Peele" transformed National Signing Day into the third edition of the show's hilarious East/West College Bowl skit, highlighting some truly original names.
And some of the real-life monikers made Peele's imaginary recruits -- like Davoin Shower-Handel, Scoish Velociraptor Maloish, Fartrell Cluggins and Cartoons Plural -- seem believable (h/t Extra Mustard).
DE for Eastern Michigan named Lion King Conway.

Again, these are real. As many noted upon Lion King's signing, he'll be joining Chance Monarch at EMU.
Safety for West Virginia named DaeJuan Funderburk.

OT for Purdue named Bearooz Yacoobi.

It's just too bad none of the press releases included college coaches talking directly about these kids, because I was hoping to hear Bulldogs coach Mark Richt talk about Shattle Fenteng's journey to UGA.
Gotta give a shout out to unsigned DT Poona Ford. You win this round, Life.

Alas, these names were so good that Peele conceded there was no need for another East/West Bowl.
The real names are getting way too good. No more East West Bowl. Thats it. Done.
