Why Jayson Tatum is playing different for the Boston Celtics this season

Fans of the Boston Celtics have taken note that this seems to be a different season for the play of star Celtics forward Jayson Tatum. From simple aspects such as his bulked up frame and how he uses it to truck his way to the cup to more complex changes to his game, Tatum is showing he is growing as a top option.

No longer defaulting into isolation play when the going gets tough, the St. Louis native has been giving the game what it needs and is trusting his teammates. His play is starting to trend up with the start of the stretch run.

How much better can he get before the postseason?

The hosts of the CLNS Media “Celtics Beat” podcast sat down with The Athletic’s Jared Weiss on a recent episode to talk it over. Check it out above!
