Who's named to the Preseason All-Shore Bowling teams?

There's no secret the Shore has hosted some of the top bowlers in high school over the years, now it's time to showcase that once again.

So before the season gets into complete full swing for every school, here are the Asbury Park Press Preason All-Shore Bowling teams:

PRESEASON ALL-SHORE BOWLING BOYS FIRST TEAM

Jake Diaz, Howell, Sr.

A senior who's already led his team to two straight shutout wins so far this season. He’s won four individual tournaments- Bayshore, Brick Invitational, Battle at Bristol and Shore Conference Individual step-ladder. Already an All-Shore type of player who bowled 216.38 a game last year. So far he’s bowling a 225.67 average in the first six games. He was a first team All-Shore player last season, too.

Joe Dominguez, Freehold Township, Sr.

Has been catching the eyes of bowling purists since a freshman and is now in his senior year. Through the first six games of this season he’s bowled a 231.83 average. He finished fifth at the state Individual Championship and was first team All-Shore last season.

Trey Arico, Jackson Memorial, Jr.

A junior who's been progressing each year of his high school career. Through the first six games this season he’s averaged 222.83. With more time to progress and a fast start to this season, expect to see this name more often. He was on the All-Shore second team last season.

Matthew Baxter, Toms River East, Sr.

A senior who's been bowling at a better than 200 clip since freshman year. He’s also been on our watch list from the start of his high school career and has been second team All-Shore. Could be in the Bowler of the Year conversation by the end of the season.

Zachary Spoonire, Ocean Township, Sr.

The fast 4-0 start for Ocean Township is largely due to this senior. He’s never averaged less than 200 in any season and has bowled n over 130 games.

Matthew Jinks, Donovan Catholic, Sr.

A senior who won a South Sectionals, Division 1 Championship before this season. Through the first nine games this season he’s been undefeated and averaged 210.22.

PRESEASON ALL-SHORE BOWLING BOYS SECOND TEAM

Ryan Maillard, Toms River East, Sr.

Jason Bennett, Colts Neck, Soph.

Zach Dorner, Freehold Township, Jr.

Zachary Friedman, Manasquan, Sr.

Nino Cantalupo, Manchester Township, Sr.

JR Weiland, Brick Memorial, Sr.

PRESEASON ALL-SHORE BOWLING GIRLS FIRST TEAM

Kayleigh Germadnig, Howell, Jr.

A junior who's gotten better with each season and participated in the state teams finals last year. Last season she averaged 183.54. Averaging 198.83 through her first six games of the current season.

Caitlyn Milczarski, Middletown South, Jr.

She started her junior season with a perfect game. So far her average is 222.67 with a 668 series in her first outing of the season.

Gianna DiAmbrosio, Jackson Memorial, Sr.

Averaged 170 last season, finished fourth in the Shore Conference Individuals then ran the step ladder to take the championship. On fire to start this season with a 225 series in a sweep vs. Colts Neck.

Olivia Salvatore, Brick Memorial, Jr.

Replacing Leah Varela as anchor for the Mustangs, who have captured three Group championships in a a row and also won the last two Tournament of Champions titles.

Faith Perrin, Brick Memorial, Sr.

Teammate Olivia Salvatore led the Shore with a 207.50 average in the opeing week and Perrin was second at 207.17.

Kristi Nardiello, Brick Township, Sr.

A 182 average through four years, with a 205 start in the young season.

Maekeinzee Koenigstein, Manchester, Sr.

Abby Montgomery, Manchester, Sr.

Gianna Remo, Freehold Township, Sr.

Jamie White, Barnegat, So.

Regina Gardner, Brick Township, Sr.
