Where Quinn Ewers lands in CBS Sports’ QB power rankings after Week 7

There is no shortage of excellent quarterback play across the college football landscape this season.

A few surprising names have emerged near the top of the list, such as Tennessee’s Hendon Hooker and TCU’s Max Duggan. The two preseason favorites for the Heisman trophy, Bryce Young and CJ Stroud, are also having solid seasons up to this point.

Texas’ Quinn Ewers, who missed three games due to a shoulder injury, has put together a few fantastic performances to warrant his place among the top 10 quarterbacks in the country.

CBS Sports recently updated their quarterback rankings after Week 7 and two Big 12 signal-callers made the list. Coastal Carolina’s Grayson McCall and Oregon’s Bo Nix are no longer ranked, while Utah’s Cameron Rising is now among the top 10.
