These were the Greater Lansing Week 1 football standouts

Here is a look at the top performances from Week 1 high school football contests in Greater Lansing. This reflects stats submitted to the LSJ. For inclusion, game stats should be sent to bcalloway@lsj.com and sports@lsj.com following games.

TOP PERFORMERS

CUTLER BRANDT, CHARLOTTE: The senior had five carries for 136 yards and two touchdowns and added 15 tackles and a 65-yard interception return for a TD.

NIZJAI DAVIDSON, EVERETT: The junior completed 15 of 27 passes for 262 yards and two touchdowns and added a rushing score in the Vikings' 23-20 loss to Sexton.

ELLIOTT LARNER, DEWITT: The junior quarterback ran for 227 yards and four touchdowns and threw for 68 yards for the Panthers in their 27-17 win over Haslett.

AJ MARTEL, MASON: The senior running back finished with 194 yards rushing on just 15 carries and had four touchdowns for Mason in a rivalry win over Holt.

DREW ROBINSON, STOCKBRIDGE: Robinson had nine carries for 115 yards and two touchdowns and five catches for 101 yards and two touchdowns in the Panthers' shutout win.

BRADLEE UHLMANN, BATH: Uhlmann caught a 5-yard touchdown pass with 13 seconds remaining to lift the Bees to a 26-22 win over Chesaning. He finished with 186 yards rushing and two TDs and 124 receiving yards and a score.
