Watch: Young Warriors fan receives signed shoe from Andrew Wiggins

The Golden State Warriors are a global brand. After winning multiple championships over the past decade and becoming one of the most successful dynasties in NBA history, the Warriors fanbase is far-reaching. As such, Warriors players often hold meet-and-greet events when visiting other countries.

In a recent video that is currently circling social media, Andrew Wiggins can be seen signing items for fans in China. However, the fan in question is a young boy who gets emotional upon receiving his signed shoe, which illustrates how impactful a player’s time can be for their fans.

Wiggins has been with the Warriors for a little over three seasons and has become an integral member of their rotation during his time with the franchise. Wiggins is a former first-overall draft pick after being selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers before instantly being traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves as part of the Kevin Love deal.

Nevertheless, Wiggins is now an NBA champion with the Warriors and likely part of the franchise’s long-term future. You can watch the video of Wiggins signing the boy’s shoe below.
