WATCH: Texans WR Tank Dell says ‘time to go to work’

The Houston Texans added a weapon for rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud in the third round of the 2023 NFL draft.

The Texans shopped local and picked former Houston Cougars receiver Tank Dell, keeping the speedster from TDECU Stadium in the city to begin his NFL career.

Fox 26 [KRIV-TV] was able to be on hand at Dell’s draft party to capture the moment he was selected by the Texans along with the reactions from himself and his family afterwards.

Dell generated 109 catches for 1,398 yard and 17 touchdowns in his 13 games for the Cougars last season. The 5-8, 165-pound wideout was a two-time first-team All-AAC in his last two years with Houston.
