WEST LAFAYETTE — Purdue women's basketball will continue its postseason run when it faces Duquesne in the WNIT Super 16.

The winner plays either Vermont (23-11) or Colgate (20-13) on March 30 or April 1.

Purdue played with striking confidence and hammered Butler at Hinkle Fieldhouse 62-51 in the WNIT second round on Monday night. Senior point Jeanae Terry set a record for the Boilermakers.

Purdue (14-18) overcame the loss of senior Caitlyn Harper who injured her knee on Senior Night and senior starting guard Madison Layden opted out of playing the WNIT.

Sophomore transfer and South Bend native Mila Reynolds scored a career-high and team-leading 15 points while junior Jayla Smith added 11 points and Abbey Ellis chipped home 10 points to down the Bulldogs 62-51.
