The Kansas City Chiefs (3-1) are headed to U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis to take on the Minnesota Vikings (1-3), and the question on everyone's mind is whether or not Taylor Swift will make an appearance for a third consecutive week.

The Chiefs are 2-0 since the rumors surrounding her and star tight end Travis Kelce picked up, but her presence at U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday is still up in the air.

Regardless, despite their 3-1 record, the defending Super Bowl champs have underwhelmed through the first four weeks of the season, recording just one win by more than a single possession, and it came against the 0-4 Chicago Bears. Can they turn it around against a Vikings' defense that has ranked outside the top-20 in total defense thus far?

Injuries and fantasy news:

Chiefs Injury Report:

  • DT Matt Dickerson (knee) - did not participate in Wednesday's practice

  • LB Nick Bolton (ankle) - limited participant on Wednesday

  • CB Jaylen Watson (shoulder) - limited participant on Wednesday

Vikings Injury Report:

Each team has suffered notable injuries through the first quarter of the season. However, given that every notable player was a limited participant in their team's practice on Wednesday, it's safe to assume that most, if not all, of these players will suit up for their teams on Sunday.

This matchup should be a showcase of two of the most exciting offenses in the league, but that doesn't mean it will be a high-scoring affair. The Chiefs defense has been stout these first few weeks, giving up just 294.5 total yards per game, ranking them eighth in the NFL in that category. They also rank sixth in the NFL in points allowed (60). All that is to say that Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins and receiver Justin Jefferson have their work cut out for them if they want to move to 2-3.

Minnesota has struggled against the pass this year, which should give the Chiefs a massive advantage. That said, they've been surprisingly good at limiting tight ends. They've only allowed 82 total yards to tight ends all season (on 17 receptions, which isn't great). They've also allowed two touchdowns to tight ends, but those were on a pair of goal-line scores from the Los Angeles Chargers Donald Parham. Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has yet to break out for one of his signature huge games this season, and this matchup doesn't bode well for his stat line. That said, the Chiefs have shown an ability to spread the ball around effectively to their wideouts.

Chiefs receivers Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Justyn Ross, Skyy Moore, and Kadarius Toney have each had their moments in individual games, even if not a single one has taken a leap out ahead of the rest. Most of the Chiefs' star power has come from their backfield.

After a sluggish start to the season, sophomore running back Isiah Pacheco has put together a good string of weeks, finding the endzone in back-to-back weeks heading into this game while averaging over 5.0 yards per carry during that stretch.

What was supposed to be a committee backfield with former first-round selection Clyde Edwards-Helaire and journeyman halfback Jerick McKinnon has mostly revolved around Pacheco, which goes to show just how much the Chiefs like him.
