WATCH: Garrett Wilson has no idea what ‘rookie dinner’ means. Get ready to pay up.

Innocence is true bliss.

That’s the only thing we can say about former Ohio State receiver Garrett Wilson and his inability to know what’s coming for his “rookie dinner” with his fellow Jets teammates.

Wilson was selected by the Jets with the No. 10 overall pick in the first round, and since then has done nothing but endure him to the team and fanbase. He’s about to get a reality check though in a dinner that’s apparently set up in the near future. The fact that Wilson doesn’t understand the way rookies are treated is kind of comical and adorable all at the same time.

Watch as Wilson glows about the upcoming dinner to what he believes is just to get acclimated and bond with his rookie teammates. Then watch as he is let in on the joke and shot to the pocketbook that’s more than likely coming.

Wilson is as good as they come off the field, so it’s no surprise he isn’t fully aware of what’s going on here, but we’d love to see a report after he receives the check.
