Watch: Brandin Podziemski and Kevin Durant have words
Brandin Podziemski has impressed since being drafted by the Golden State Warriors during the summer. The rookie guard has earned a consistent role in Steve Kerr‘s rotation and is quickly becoming a key bench contributor for his team. Part of what makes Podzeimski such an exciting young talent is his high level of competitiveness.
During the Warriors’ loss to the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday (Nov. 22) Podziemski’s competitive nature was on full display and led to him and Kevin Durant having some words with each other after the game. The rookie and the superstar forward can be seen going back and forth with one another, although the context of the conversation is unclear.
The clip of the pair’s discussion surfaced online and has since been shared across multiple social media platforms and generated multiple conversations surrounding what could have been said.
