WATCH: Anthony Richardson dazzles on 4th quarter 2-point conversation

Anthony Richardson has emerged on the scene. The sophomore starting QB has taken over social media during the Gators’ home opener against the No. 8 ranked Utah Utes.

The Sophomore has been hyped up throughout the entire ESPN primetime broadcast, with Mel Tucker Jr. listing him as the No. 12 overall player on his 2023 NFL draft big board. A 45-yard TD run earlier in the game showcased his running ability, with a successful 2-point conversion attempt in the 4th quarter showcasing Richardson’s ability to create magic out of what seems to be a nearly impossible situation to get out of.

The Gators drove 75 yards on eight plays, capped off by RB Montrell Johnson’s 14-yard TD run. With the score at 20-19, the Gators made the decision to go for two in order to make it a three-point game.

Then, Richardson made magic.
