The Washington Football Team released their inactive list ahead of Sunday’s Week 8 game against the Denver Broncos. Seven players are inactive for Washington, six of which are due to injury.

Washington will be without All-Pro guard Brandon Scherff and right tackle Sam Cosmi again vs. the Broncos. Wes Schweitzer will start at right guard, while second-year pro Saahdiq Charles will start at right tackle in place of Cosmi and Cornelius Lucas.

Lucas did not travel with the team to Denver as he is out with an illness.

Cornerback William Jackson III will miss his second consecutive game.

Wide receivers Curtis Samuel and Dyami Brown are also inactive. Samuel remains out with a groin injury. He has now missed six of eight games in his first season with Washington due to the same injury that has bothered him since minicamp.

Brown missed the Week 5 game against the Saints, returned the following week against the Chiefs, and departed last week’s game against the Packers early with a knee injury.
