Warriors’ Andre Iguodala has left wrist fracture, to undergo surgery

The Golden State Warriors received some tough news on Wednesday when they found out that they would be without yet another piece on their roster.

While they await the return of Andrew Wiggins who is still out due to personal reasons, the Warriors found out that veteran Andre Iguodala now has a left wrist fracture and he will undergo surgery in the coming weeks.

Iguodala has only played eight games in what is expected to be his final season in the NBA and he’s averaging only 2.1 points and 2.4 rebounds in14.1 minutes per night, but considering how short-handed Golden State is at the moment, this is bad timing for the Dubs as they need bodies at the moment.

While the Warriors continue to wait for Wiggins to return, they now brace for Iguodala to be out for an extended period of time. Luckily, Stephen Curry is back from his injury and he and Klay Thompson are more than capable of carrying the team.
