CCA's Streams, CL's Naquin voted Barker Honda Athlete of the Week in Houma-, Thibodaux-area
The ballots have closed, and this week's Barker Honda Athletes of the Week in the Houma- and Thibodaux-area are Bailey Streams of Covenant Christian basketball for the boys and Rorie Naquin of Central Lafourche soccer for the girls.

Streams led the Lions to a district win over Vermilion Catholic and received 36.9% of the vote. He beat out runner-up Raleigh Rogers from Vandebilt Catholic soccer and Kaden Adams of Central Lafourche indoor track and field.

Naquin not only led the Lady Trojans to the LHSAA playoffs, she was also named a member of the LHSAA All-Academic team. She received 40.6% of the vote, beating out runner-up Makayla Verdin of South Terrebonne basketball and Gabby Campbell of Vandebilt Catholic basketball.
