Houma Christian's Brinson, SL's Riviera voted Barker Honda Athlete of the Week winners
The vote has closed, and this week's Barker Honda Athlete of the Week winners in the Houma- and Thibodaux-area are Houma Christian basketball player Justin Brinson for the boys and South Lafourche basketball player Estrella Riviera for the girls.
Brinson led the Warriors to a win over South Terrebonne and received 36% of the vote. He beat out fellow basketball players Jordan Williams of A.J. Ellender and Jakari Maddox of Terrebonne, who finished runner-up and third-place respectively.

Riviera led the Lady Tarpons to a win over Terrebonne and received 38.7% of the vote. She beat out basketball players An'gel Lee of THS, who claimed the runner-up spot, and Houma Christian's Kayleigh Pierce, who finished third.
