It is time again to vote for the DC Roofing 321preps Athlete of the Week at 321preps.com and floridatoday.com.

The following athletes were nominated for their performances from April 15-20. You will find the ballot at the bottom of the page. Be sure to refresh if the poll isn't visible upon first loading. Voting will be open until noon on Thursday.

Please respect the integrity of the ballot. Restrict your voting to once an hour.

The last winner was Will Kerschensteiner of Melbourne rowing. Find a list of the 2023-24 winners at the bottom.

Coaches and athletic directors are invited to nominate athletes each week. E-mail the athlete's accomplishments for the previous Monday through Saturday to bmccallum@floridatoday.com by 10 a.m. each Monday.

Here are this week's nominees:

Josiah Allen, Rockledge track & field

Allen threw the javelin 188 feet to win the event at Friday's Cape Coast Conference meet, the Brevard County record and ninth among all Florida performers.

Tori Berry, Viera softball

Berry, in three games, registered five hits, drove in four runs and played error-free at first base and catcher.

Alya Dzheneva, Holy Trinity tennis

Dzheneva won No. 1 singles and earned a state tournament trip with her victory in District 7-1A on Tuesday at Fee Avenue Park.

Alana Gibbons, Astronaut track & field

Gibbons won both the shot put (36 feet, 7 inches) and the discus (103-9) on Friday at the Cape Coast Conference championship meet.

Michael Howkins, Holy Trinity lacrosse

Howkins finished with six goals and three assists to help the Tiger's win the district championship.

Elvin Pascaul, Bayside baseball

In 4.1 innings pitched against MCC on Monday, Pascaul struck out five while allowing two hits and one earned run. He went 2-for-3 at the plate.

Audra Prill, Edgewood lacrosse

In the District 8-1A semifinals, Prill scored five goals, and in the district championship, Prill scored three goals and assisted on two more to help the Red Wolves repeat as district champions.

Tavon Simmons-Roberts, Cocoa track & field

Simmons-Roberts won the 110-meter hurdles in 14.56 seconds, ranking him ninth on the FHSAA list of top performers for all classifications.

Ralph Smith, Titusville track & field

Smith long jumped 24 feet, 1 3/4 inches to win the event at the Cape Coast Conference meet Friday. That placed him second in the state for all classes.

Jonathan Wolaver, Satellite baseball

Wolaver pitched a seven-inning no hitter and struck out 19 against rival Cocoa Beach on Thursday. He also drove in two runs.
