VOTE: Citizen Times and Times-News spring sports Week 11 girls athlete of the week

Vote for the Citizen Times and Times-News girls athlete of the week. Fans may vote one time per hour.

Caroline Bridges, Asheville School: Bridges scored four goals as Asheville School beat Concord Academy, 8-0, in the first round of the NCISAA playoffs.

Boston Stringer, Franklin: Stringer won the pole vault with a jump of 11 feet, 6 inches, helping Franklin with the girls 3A West Regional title.

Addie Sams, Madison: Sams doubled in the seventh, bringing home the go-ahead run and capping off Madison's comeback 4-3 upset win over West Davidson in the first round of the 2A playoffs. She also homered in the Patriots' 13-1 second round win over Brevard.

Addison Staton, McDowell: Staton hit two solo home runs to help power the Titans' offensive breakout in a 17-2 win over Myers Park in the second round of the 4A playoffs.

Mia Roland, Owen: Roland hit a walk off grand slam to send Owen past Bunker Hill, 6-2 in the second round of the 2A playoffs. She also tripled and went 3-for-4 at the plate.

Aubrey Treadway, Reynolds: Treadway struck out 10 batters and allowed two hits to outduel North Buncombe in a 1-0 win in the first round of the 3A playoffs on Tuesday. She hit a home run and scored three times with two RBIs in a 14-13 win over Ashe County on Friday.

Zoie Shuler, Robbinsville: Shuler swept the jumping events at the girls 1A West Regional, taking first place in the high jump, long jump and triple jump.

Rylee Rawls, Swain County: Rawls struck out 11 batters in nine innings in the circle, allowing eight hits and three runs. She also went 3-for-5 and scored the walk off run in the bottom of the ninth to beat Mountain Heritage, 4-3, in the first round of the 1A playoffs.

Arizona Blankenship, Swain County: Blankenship won the 1,600-meter and 3,200-meter runs at the girls 1A West Regional with plenty of distance between her and the competition – roughly 15 seconds in each. Swain County won the meet.

Mya Burrows-Kurr, Swain County: Burrows-Kurr helped a dominant Swain County offense to a 9-0 victory over Hayesville with a hat trick and five assists. On Thursday, the junior scored four goals and assisted on three in a 9-4 win over Highlands.
