Vote for the Austin-area boys high school athlete of the week
It's time to make your choice for the Austin-area boys high school athlete of the week for Jan. 8 through Jan. 13. Bowie forward Bennett Seiler was voted the top boys athlete for the week of Dec. 25-30.
This week's list includes four of the top boys athletes from area basketball teams as well as one soccer player.
Vote: Austin-area girls high school athlete of the week
Here are this week's candidates:
Ryan Dupre, Georgetown basketball
Scored 18 points in both of the Eagles’ wins over Hendrickson and Cedar Creek.
Jesse Lang, Anderson
Recorded a hat trick to lead the Trojans' soccer team to a 5-4 win over LASA.
JoJo Moore, Rouse basketball
Averaged 20 ppg as the Raiders took wins over Glenn and Cedar Park.
Josiah Moseley, Stony Point basketball
Scored 25 points and had four blocks as the Tigers defeated Westwood 65-47 to stay undefeated in District 25-6A.
Jayden Thomas, Lake Travis basketball
Averaged 22.5 ppg to help the Cavs defeat Johnson and Akins.
