It's time to make your choice for the Austin-area boys high school athlete of the week for Jan. 8 through Jan. 13. Hyde Park Baptist's Grace Bagan was voted the top girls athlete for the week of Jan. 1-6.
This week's list includes a pair of soccer players along with three basketball players.

Here are this week's candidates:
Amelia Clark, Lake Travis soccer
The sophomore midfielder for the Cavaliers has scored five goals in three matches for state-ranked Lake Travis.
Lauren Hill, St. Michael’s soccer
Hill has scored 19 goals in six matches for the Crusaders in TAPPS action.
Libby Lee, Glenn basketball
Freshman point guard had 14 points in a 44-30 win over previously undefeated and No. 2 state-ranked Liberty Hill in District 25-5A.
Paulete Mbuangi, Navarro basketball
Scored 26 points as the Vikings beat Travis 60-33. She's averaging 26 points, 9.2 rebounds and 6. 2 steals per game for the Vikings.
Niyah Waters, Hendrickson basketball
Waters had 20 points and a game-winning assist in the final seconds as the Hawks beat Georgetown 55-53 in a battle of district unbeatens, then added another 20 points as the Hawks defeated East View 75-36.
