Aiden Ambeau
Greece Athena senior midfielder scored twice, on a penalty kick and an unassisted goal, during a 2-1 win in boys soccer over Greece Arcadia.
Emily Ferguson
Aquinas senior shot the lowest score, a par 36, during a girls golf match at Shadow Lake. The 2022 Democrat and Chronicle All-Greater Rochester Team member later tied for the lowest score at Webster Golf Club, a two-under par 35, during another match. She also finished two strokes behind the medalist during the opening match of the season at Shadow Lake. Ferguson is a team of one who plays with the team at Mercy.
Mackenzie Gerig
The Hilton girls volleyball star had 15 kills during a straight sets win over Churchville-Chili on Thursday.
Katie Johnston
Fairport senior scored a goal during a field hockey penalty corner and assisted on another goal during a 2-1 win over Hamburg of Section VI or Buffalo area. The Red Raiders won their first two games of the season.
Matt Lincoln
Naples golfer shot a score of two-over par 37 at Silver Creek and was medalist of a match against Waterloo. Naples was 5-0.
Adam Ruffalo
The Victor senior racked up 301 all-purpose yards during the Blue Devils' 41-14 win over Rush-Henrietta on Thursday, Aug. 31. Ruffalo compiled 90 kick return yards, 103 rushing yards, and 108 receiving yards with a touchdown reception. On defense, Ruffalo added eight tackles and an interception.
Kevin Qian
The Victor boys volleyball star put down 20 kills and four aces in Friday's straight sets win over Brockport.
Kamryn Zellers
The Mynderse girls soccer star had two goals and two assists during an 8-0 win over Honeoye on Thursday.
