Updated: Here are all the QBs with bigger cap hits than 49ers entire QB room in 2023

The 49ers QB room was never going to be particularly expensive. That was true even before they traded their most expensive QB, Trey Lance, to the Dallas Cowboys.

Prior to Lance’s departure there were more than 10 quarterbacks due to cost more against the salary cap in 2023 than the entire 49ers QB room. Now that Lance has been traded and Brandon Allen has made the 53-man roster, the 49ers QBs will cost them $7,034,693 against the cap.

Sam Darnold’s $5,052,941 is their largest according to Spotrac.

With other QB contracts worked out and the 49ers QB room finalized, here’s an updated list of all the individual quarterbacks who carry bigger cap hits in 2023 than the entire 49ers quarterback room:
