The UNC Air Jordan 17 low ‘university blue’ has a hefty price tag
Earlier in 2023 rumors swirled that a classic Air Jordan model was returning in an iconic colorway in 2024. The Air Jordan 17 low in a “university blue” colorway is set to make its return over 20 years after its debut now in Fall of 2024.
Multiple sneaker sites are reporting that this classic shoe will return with the Carolina Blue-inspired look for Fall and it’s going to have a hefty price tag of $300.
Popular sneaker Instagram account Zsneakerheadz posted the information recently, not only confirming the release but also the price tag that won’t have sneaker fans happy. Here is what he posted via his account that has 1.2M followers:
If you collect sneakers, play basketball or are a UNC fan looking to add to your wardrobe, it’s disappointing to see the price tag for the shoe. It’s a major price increase from other retros that have released including the latest Air Jordan 11 ‘gratitude’ colorway.
An official announcement for a release is expected by Jordan Brand at some point in 2024.
