UFC 300: Predictions, picks, odds for main events on Saturday in Las Vegas

Two titles are on the line this Saturday as Alex Pereira looks to defend his light heavyweight belt while Zhang Weili will defend her strawweight title against Yan Xiaonan. Despite the obvious draw of the title matches though, there are still numerous other fights to look forward to as well.

Outside of Pereira and Weili, fans will get to see a third belt on the line in Las Vegas -- the BMF, or Bad Motherf***er belt -- which is currently in Justin Gaethje's possession after he beat Dustin Poirier last summer in Salt Lake City. Of course, a loss for Gaethje against Max Holloway this Saturday does not mean he needs to give up the BMF title, but it certainly doesn't help your reputation if you call yourself the Badest MFer alive and lose a fight.

In total, there will be 13 fights, with five being on the main card for Vegas. Here's everything you need to know about UFC 300 this Saturday.

Predictions for UFC 300:

Covers: Pereira ML vs. Jamahal Hill

Rohit Ponnaiya writes, "I don't see Pereira losing until his chin goes, his speed declines, or he faces a high-end grappler. Luckily for him, there aren't many contenders with strong wrestling or grappling in this division and Hill isn't one of them. As for his speed and chin, Pereira proved that both of those were intact when he knocked out Jiri Prochazka in the second round last November to claim the title."

CBS Sports: Bo Nickal to beat Cody Brundage in the first round (-190)

Brent Brookhouse writes, "Nickal is a -2000 favorite, so the moneyline is out unless you feel as though Brundage is set to score a massive upset. Nickal has never been out of the first round, with his longest fight to date lasting 2:54. Brundage has twice been stopped in the first round."

Sporting News: Pereira over Hill via TKO (Round 2)

Daniel Yanofsky writes, "A double champion, Pereira is not as big a favorite as many thought. Hill is a competent fighter who has beaten some of the best in the division. However, one has to wonder how his Achilles is after rupturing it. Does he trust his movement? What if the fight turns into a grappling game? Pereira struggles on the floor but is quick with his movements. Nothing is holding him back."
