UFC 257: Dana White releases extended hype video for Conor McGregor vs. Dustin Poirier rematch

UFC 257 is less than three weeks away, and the UFC is shifting into full-on promotion mode.

The third event of a three-cards-in-10-days return to “Fight Island,” the Jan. 23 pay-per-view is headlined by a rematch between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier.

On Monday, UFC president Dana White released a new promotional video hyping the rematch on his social media channels. The UFC released a few promo videos and commercials in previous weeks, but the one released Monday is the longest to date and features a Hidden Citizens cover of “I Ran (So Far Away),” the early 1980s classic by A Flock of Seagulls.

The highlight flashes back to UFC 178, which hosted their first fight won by McGregor after a whole load of trash-talking in the buildup, before switching gears to what’s occurred since the two fighters’ initial September 2014 showdown.

You can watch the trailer in the video below.
