Twin recruiting targets dish on UNC basketball program

The North Carolina Tar Heels are in pursuit of multiple prospects in the 2025 recruiting class. Hubert Davis and the staff have six offers out to players.

Among the players with offers are twins Cayden and Cameron Boozer, the sons of former Duke standout Carlos Boozer. Even with their ties to Duke, Davis is doing his due diligence to potentially land a commitment from one of the twins in the 2025 class.

The twins are two of the top players in the 2025 class; both rank as five-star players. They are generating significant interest as well with Duke, UNC, Kansas, Kentucky and Miami among the schools after them. At the Section 7 event in Glendale, the twins caught up with 247Sports to discuss their recruitment and the teams involved.

Here is what Cayden had to say about receiving an offer from North Carolina:

North Carolina: “They just said that we are really good players and we are the type they want because we are winners and they want us to help them win more games. It was a good offer and good to talk with coach Davis.” — Cayden

There’s a long way to go before either player makes a decision. Obviously, Duke and Miami feel like the favorites, but that will not stop UNC’s efforts to pull off a big recruiting win.
