TUESDAY'S GIRLS' BASKETBALL MATCHUPS
Lighthouse Christian (4-9) at Seven Oaks Classical
GAME TIME: 6 p.m.
COACHES: Brian Brown, 14-43 in 3rd year at Lighthouse. .
LAST OUTING: Lighthouse lost to Shakamak, 48-6.
SERIES LAST 20 YEARS: Lighthouse Christian, 1-0.
OUTLOOK: First game of a girl-boys doubleheader between newly minted Southern Roads Conference rivals. Lions are fighting roster numbers, playing with just five players last week.
Bloomington North (9-9) at Brownstown Central (10-11)
GAME TIME: 7:30 p.m.
COACHES: Jeff Turmail, 33-77 in 5th year at Bloomington North. Brandon Allman, 55-22 in 3rd year at Brownstown.
LAST OUTING: Bloomington North defeated Mitchell, 51-45. Brownstown lost to Jennings County, 67-42.
SERIES LAST 20 YEARS: Brownstown, 5-1.
LAST MEETING: Brownstown, 54-26, Jan. 19, 2021.
OUTLOOK: Braves, winners of the Toby Yoho Classic, are under .500 for the first time in five seasons, but have played a rugged schedule that includes several of the top teams in 3A. They've won both meetings since series was started two seasons ago. They're 1-3 over their last four, taking down Greensburg before getting run out of the building by a 14-win Jennings County squad.
Bloomington South (3-16) at Martinsville (3-12)
GAME TIME: 7:30 p.m.

COACHES: Larry Winters, 316-191 in 23rd year at Bloomington South. Dave Dorsett, 19-17 in 2nd year at Martinsville, 32-44 in 4th year overall.
LAST OUTING: Bloomington South defeated Evansville Central, 59-31. Martinsville lost to Ben Davis, 66-28.
SERIES LAST 20 YEARS: Martinsville, 12-11.
LAST MEETING: Martinsville, 92-48, Jan. 19, 2021.
OUTLOOK: While South's played the 24th toughest schedule in the state, Martinsville has played the 21st. It also hasn't played since Dec. 29 due to a COVID outbreak and South is the first of six opponents they'll face in the next 10 days. Martinsville's roster had already taken a hit before the season started with two of its best players transferring to Franklin. Artesians, who average just 36 ppg, will be looking to end a 10-game losing streak.
