BOYS VOLLEYBALL

Kimberly 3, Kaukauna 0

KIMBERLY - The Papermakers swept the Ghosts 25-14, 25-14, 25-21 in a Fox Valley Association match.

Owen Krause had 10 kills and nine digs, Lucas Eckrose had eight kills and 11 digs, Brady Koester had six kills and four aces, and Michael Janssen had seven kills for Kimberly. Kameron Kemp added 10 digs and three aces, and Gage Stahmann had 30 assists.

Brady Schultz and Andrew Vande Hey both had six kills for Kaukauna. Nolan Laflen had 11 assists, while Jack McCartney had eight. Jade Breckheimer had nine digs, while Laflen and Vande Hey both had six. Brady Meyer had three blocks.

Appleton North 3, Appleton East 0

APPLETON - The Lightning was too much for the Patriots in Fox Valley Association action as North posted the 25-10, 25-11, 25-16 victory at East High School.

Statistical leaders for North included Trey Truettner with six kills, Grant Hardy and Nathan Ramus with five kills each, Jack Keesling with four kills, Max Harbick with three kills and Connor Cantrell with 23 assists.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

Kaukauna 3, Bay Port 2

SUAMICO - The Ghosts defeated the Pirates 25-19, 25-11, 16-25, 18-25, 15-12.

Addy Albrecht had a double-double for Kaukauna with 13 kills and 14 digs. Hailey Kobussen had nine kills and nine digs. Madi Tripp had 38 assists and five aces. Kayla Van Eyck had 13 kills and four aces, and Boe Kaschner had 26 digs.

Fox Valley Lutheran 3, Waupaca 0

APPLETON - The Foxes defeated the Comets in straight sets 25-22, 25-14, 25-22 in a contest between unbeaten North Eastern Conference teams.

Fox Valley Lutheran (23-6 overall, 4-0 NEC) was led by Riley Schmitz with 22 digs, Ava Patchett with 13 assists and Emma Nilson with 11 kills. Greta Nolte and Patchett both added 11 digs for FVL. Amara Jahner had 16 digs.

Waupaca is 18-5 overall and 4-1 in conference.

Hortonville 3, New London 0

NEW LONDON - The Polar Bears defeated the Bulldogs 25-13, 25-11, 25-10 in a nonconference match.

Addi Bryant and Paige Lillie led Hortonville with 12 and 10 assists, respectively. Molly Fischer had 16 digs. Delaney Garrow and Marin Grossman both had six kills, and Grossman added six aces.

St. Mary Catholic 3, Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah 0

ELKHART LAKE - The Zephyrs put forth a dominant performance as they downed the Resorters 25-13, 25-12, 25-23.

Leading the Zephyrs was Lauren Fischer with 13 kills and nine digs. Eliana Brenn added eight kills and five aces, Stella Virlee had 15 assists and five digs, and Sammie Weiss had 13 assists and five aces.

BOYS SOCCER

Fox Valley Lutheran 2, Marinette 0

APPLETON - Reed Curtis and Sam Ferge scored goals for the Foxes in the North Eastern Conference win.

Jack Liebert and Ezra Schaser had assists for FVL.

Foxes goalie Matthew Callaway made seven saves.

Kimberly 1, Kaukauna 0

KIMBERLY - The match’s lone goal was scored in the 16th minute by Liam Paradiso with an assist from Owen Sitek in the Kimberly win.

Noah Sommer recorded a clean sheet with two saves for the Papermakers.

Kimberly had six shots on goal. Kaukauna had three shots on goal.

Hortonville 1, Oshkosh West 0

HORTONVILLE - Charlie O’Brien scored a goal in the second half to lift the Polar Bears to the win over the Wildcats.

Wesley Barker had an assist on the goal.

Hortonville goalie Nathan Bolling made six saves.

St. Mary Catholic 9, Random Lake 1

RANDOM LAKE - The Zephyrs got three goals from Kieran Barrientos and two from Carlos Verhoff in the win over the Rams.

Other St. Mary Catholic goals were scored by Grant Bergstrom, Luke Fairweather, Harry Higgins and AJ Groppel.

Groppel and Bergstrom both had three assists. Barrientos, Alexei Quinonez and Teddy Higgins each had one assist.

St. Mary Catholic outshot Random Lake 44-3.
