Trade rumors surrounding Patriots QB Ryan Mallett, Texans
There are trade rumors surrounding New England Patriots quarterback Ryan Mallett, and the potential destination is the Houston Texans.
The Patriots want a third-round draft pick in exchange for the former Arkansas standout, according to CSN New England.
Another source told CSN New England that no trade is imminent.
The Texans need a quarterback and they're coached by former Patriots offensive coordinator Bill O'Brien, who coached Mallett in New England.
The Texans already have Ryan Fitzpatrick, Case Keenum and T.J. Yates under contract.
