It’s a busy night in the NBA with two nationally televised matchups featuring playoff contenders – but the best options for bettors may be with less flashy matchups on Wednesday.

1. Lakers -12.5 vs. Thunder
Yes, that’s a big line, and yes, the Thunder just covered against the Lakers earlier this week – but the Thunder will be without Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who led the team with 29 points in the overtime loss. The Lakers could also return Anthony Davis, whose status is up in the air, but I’d expect a far more comfortable Lakers win with or without him on Wednesday.
2. Pelicans -2.5 at Bulls
The Pelicans have been on a nice run of late, winning their last four games, and have covered the spread in six of the last eight. The Bulls will still be shorthanded with Lauri Markkanen, Wendell Carter Jr. and Otto Porter out. The Pelicans are just the better team here, and should cover easily.
3. Pacers-Nets over 234.5
The Nets are inept defensively, and the over has hit in 18 of their last 20 games. That’s 90 percent!
