Tom Brady has broken the record for the most touchdown passes. The New England Patriots quarterback tossed his 580th score in the second quarter against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday night to surpass Peyton Manning.

The record includes touchdowns made during the playoffs – but it is another milestone for the 41-year-old who already holds the record for most career passing yards (79,727) and most touchdown passes to different receivers (71).

Brady broke the mark with a two-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Julian Edelman, which handed the Patriots a 13-7 lead. He tied Manning’s 579 career passing touchdown record during their 24-10 victory over the Minnesota Vikings last Sunday.

The Patriots are bidding to win a tenth consecutive AFC East title with a win over the Dolphins, which would break the NFL record for most consecutive playoff berths.
