Titans place Ryan Stonehouse, Joe Jones on injured reserve

The Tennessee Titans placed two players on injured reserve on Friday, including punter Ryan Stonehouse.

Stonehouse’s addition to injured reserve is no surprise, as head coach Mike Vrabel revealed earlier this week that the punter is out for the season after suffering a serious knee injury in Week 13.

The other player placed on injured reserve is linebacker Joe Jones. The veteran special teamer, who was signed to the practice squad in October before being promoted to the active roster ahead of the Colts game, was listed with a finger injury on this week’s injury report.

Neither Stonehouse’s nor Jones’ exact injuries have been revealed.

Replacing Stonehouse is punter Ty Zentner, who was signed to the team’s practice squad this week. Zentner will also assume holder duties, as well.

With Jones out, the Titans have Otis Reese and Luke Gifford as backups to Azeez Al-Shaair and Jack Gibbens. Tennessee also has recently signed JoJo Domann on the practice squad.
