Artesia High School basketball player claims Current-Argus Prep Hero of the Week
Artesia High School basketball guard Charlie Campbell is the winner of the Carlsbad Current-Argus Prep Hero of the Week.
He won the award with 57% of the 18,727 votes cast. On Feb. 16 against the Lovington Wildcats, he scored 17 points and snagged four rebounds.

Carlsbad’s Abbey Dugan came in second with 41% of the 13,458 votes cast.
More than 32,000 people voted in this week’s poll.
