Is Tiger Woods playing in the 2024 Masters? Tuesday press conference set for the 5-time winner

One of the biggest questions heading into the 2024 Masters Tournament is whether five-time champion Tiger Woods will play in the tournament.

It is looking very likely that Woods, who practiced at Augusta National Golf Club on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, will compete in his 26th Masters.

“He played great today,” practice round partner Will Zalatoris said. “He outdrove me a couple times so there was some chirping going on. So, you know, he looks great. He's moving as well as he can be. Again, with everything he's gone through, it's pretty amazing to see how good he's swinging it.”

If Woods makes the cut, he will break the Masters record by making the cut a 24 times in a row. He is currently tied with Fred Couples and Gary Player at 23 consecutive cut makes.

Woods is scheduled to speak at a press conference on Tuesday at 11 a.m.
