Tickets on sale for American Express PGA Tour golf tourney, concerts

Daily tickets for the 65th annual The American Express PGA Tour golf tournament in La Quinta are now on sale.

The tournament will be played Jan. 18-21 at three desert golf courses -- the Stadium and Nicklaus Tournament courses at PGA West and La Quinta Country Club. Jon Rahm is the defending champion.

Daily grounds tickets – providing general admission to The American Express at all three courses – begin at $60 for Thursday, $85 for Friday and Saturday and $75 for Sunday. American Express card members who complete their purchase with their American Express card receive a 20% discount.

The general admission tickets for Friday and Saturday include admission to general seating for the post-round concerts of the American Express Concert Series at the PGA West driving range. Musical acts for those nights will be announced in November.

Daily premier seating for the tournament are also now on sale. That includes the premier venue at The American Express, the Champions Club located on the 18th hole of the Stadium Course. Champions Club tickets include preferred parking, access to the Champions Club with a climate-controlled tent and an open-air deck, a hosted breakfast and lunch, snacks and a full bar all day.

Daily Champions Club tickets are $375 for Thursday’s first round, $425 for Sunday’s final round and $475 each for Friday’s second round and Saturday’s third round.

The Dye Club, an exclusive, open-air venue with lunch and hosted beer and wine along the Stadium Course’s famed par-3 17th hole, offers tickets for $225 for Thursday’s first round, $250 for Sunday’s final round, and $300 each for Friday’s second round and Saturday’s third round, including admission to the day’s post-round concert.

Access to five public venues at PGA West’s Stadium Course are included with all tickets. Those include The Turn, a fan zone located between the Stadium Course’s first tee and ninth green, the Casamigos Fan Deck, a partially-shaded structure situated along on the Stadium Course’s 18th fairway, the Michelob Ultra Beers For Birdies, a venue along the Stadium Course’s par-3 No. 17, the Bushmills Whiskey Lounge, between the ninth green and 10th tee, and the Corona Premier Par-Tee Lounge, overlooking the first tee and the driving range.

All tickets to The American Express are digital. The tournament is closed to the public from Jan. 15-17.
