Stock up, stock down for the Eagles heading into Week 7
The Eagles head to Las Vegas for a Week 7 matchup against the Raiders in the first game since the franchise moved on from tight end Zach Ertz.
Philadelphia is engulfed in an offensive funk and struggling to find an identity outside of throwing the ball 45-times per game.
With preparation set to begin, here’s your week stock report for Week 7.
Stock Down -- QB Jalen Hurts

No, he shouldn’t be benched, but there’s certainly a disconnect between quarterback, running back, and head coach. The Eagles run an RPO on almost every play and several times on Thursday night, Hurts kept the football when he should have allowed Miles Sanders to continue with the handoff.
In his most recent outing, Hurts finished 12-for-26 for 115 yards, with a 46.2% completion rate, the lowest of his young career.

It’s not his fault the touches aren’t there, and maybe if we speak the carries into existence, it could prove fruitful for the Eagles and especially Sanders, who averaged 6.2 yards per carry against the Bucs, didn’t receive enough attempts to make a dent.
At some point, Sirianni will be forced to lean on Sanders, or we’ll come to the conclusion that Philadelphia could be looking to move on from the electric running back.
Stock Up -- WR Quez Watkins

He’s starting to outpace Jalen Reagor in the snap department and he seems to make a big play each game.

He’s a complimentary piece at best and starting to slip towards being the No. 3 option at wide receiver.
Stock Up -- Fletcher Cox

He’s still not as dominant at times, but Cox had three interior pressures against Tom Brady and the Bucs.
Stock Down -- Alex Singleton

He’ll likely lead the Eagles in tackles again and that’s a proud accomplishment, but if the stops are made in vain, then what’s it matter. For most of Thursday night, whether it be via handoff or simple dump down from Tom Brady, the Bucs were content with putting Leonard Fournette in one on one with matchups with Singleton, in which he dominated.
Stock Up -- Darius Slay

He gave up two crucial first downs on Thursday night, but for the most part, Darius Slay was money in coverage. The Eagles star was targeted 7 times, giving up 5 total catches for 45-yards and zero touchdowns.
