The Lady Houns continued to play the dominant defense that got them to this point. They've allowed 25.3 points per game through three postseason games and have allowed more than 40 points in a game twice since the beginning of February.

Logan-Rogersville's year ended with its first 20-plus-win season since 2019 which finished in a third-place state finish. A roster led by sophomore standouts has brighter days ahead.

Aurora will host Owensville on Friday night. The Lady Houns entered the postseason ranked sixth in the state when Owensville was unranked.

Class 5: Marshfield 53, Branson 37

Marshfield girls basketball is a champion once again, after a 10-year hiatus from bringing home a first-place trophy. Four straight years of 20-plus-win seasons finally saw them win their first district title on Monday night.

The Lady Jays senior stars wouldn't be denied as they stepped up and led their team to a dominant victory. Lauren Luebbert and Abby McBride each scored 14 points to finally join the great champions to come through a proud Marshfield program before them.

Marshfield will now host Helias Catholic on Friday at 6 p.m. for a trip to the state semifinals. The Lady Crusaders defeated Rolla 59-48 on Monday for their district title victory.
