Social media reacts to rapper, Detroit Lions fan Eminem opening up 2024 NFL Draft with Roger Goodell

The NFL and its television partners — ESPN and the NFL Network — went all out for their cold open to open up the 2024 NFL Draft.

Not only did the three parties bring in current and former Detroit Lions players — Aiden Hutchinson, Barry Sanders and Calvin Johnson to just name a few — but they also brought in Lions fan and Detroit-raised rapper Eminem.

"You know you are still going to get booed right," Eminem said to NFL commissioner Roger Goodell in the cold open.

At the conclusion of the pre-recorded open, Eminem walked out onto the NFL draft stage with his hit "Not Afraid" playing in the background, which received a loud reaction from fans in attendance.
