A third straight soccer player was voted Region Athlete of the Week
Soccer players have been able to turn out the vote this spring.
New Boston Huron goalkeeper Brooklyn Burke is the third straight soccer player to be named Monroe County Region Athlete of the Week.
She won for April 22-28 with 366 votes. Bedford lacrosse player Brady Weirich was second with 336.

Burke’s win comes on the heels of victories by Emily Eshenroder of Monroe (April 15-22) and teammate Rylie Cassette (April 8-14).
