Mets top prospect Jett Williams has been putting together an extremely nice 2023 season.

The 19-year-old is mainly known for his plate discipline and game-changing speed, but in Saturday night's win over the Hudson Valley Renegades, he put his power on display in a big way.

With Brooklyn leading 5-4 in the top of the fifth, Williams stepped to the plate already with a walk and stolen base in the game. The youngster took a 1-2 offering from righty Zach Messinger and crushed it high and deep over the scoreboard in left field.

It was Williams' second home run with the Cyclones and his eighth -- and most impressive -- of the season. After a bit of a slow start to the year, the first-round pick has been scorching hot.

Williams settled in with St. Lucie and posted a .422 OBP and 32 stolen bases over 79 games. He performed well enough to quickly earn a promotion to High-A Brooklyn, and since then he's continued tearing the cover off the ball.

Williams now has 19 doubles, six triples, eight home runs, 40 RBI, and 39 stolen bases on the year. He's struck out 91 times while drawing 84 walks and posting an impressive .426 OBP through 96 games.
