SEC Week 5 score predictions: Expert picks for winner of every college football game

The SEC has finally reached Week 5 of the college football schedule: the first time all year in which there are no nonconference games on the slate.

So, what does the first all-SEC schedule look like? No. 11 Alabama will look for its second victory over the Magnolia State in as many weeks when it takes on Mississippi State in Starkville, Mississippi. Then there's Kirby Smart and top-ranked Georgia which, despite Hugh Freeze's curious verbiage, will look to strike down Auburn on the 10-year anniversary of the Prayer at Jordan-Hare.

Those aren't the only enticing games on the schedule, either: Lane Kiffin and the 20th-ranked Rebels will look to rebound from their loss to the Crimson Tide with a victory over No. 12 LSU, while Kentucky aims for its third straight victory over Florida. It would be the first time that has occurred since Paul "Bear" Bryant roamed the sidelines in Lexington.

The last games on the conference slate include Texas A&M — without quarterback Conner Weigman — taking on Arkansas in Arlington, Texas. No. 22 Missouri will take on Vanderbilt, and South Carolina's Spencer Rattler will look to replicate against Tennessee the performance that knocked the Vols from College Football Playoff contention in 2022.
