Scottie Scheffler heads into Masters as heaviest favorite since Tiger Woods in 2013

Heading into Masters week, there is a clear favorite to win it all.

As of Thursday, April 4, Scottie Scheffler was +400 to win his second green jacket. The 2022 Masters champion is the biggest pre-tournament favorite since 2013, when Tiger Woods was listed at +350 ahead of the first round.

Scheffler enters the Masters Tournament fresh off a win at THE PLAYERS Championship, which he also won in 2023.

Scheffler entered the 2022 Masters at +1600, according to SportsOddsHistory.com.

The 2024 Masters will be Scheffler's fifth tournament appearance. Here are his previous finishes:

  • 2023: Tied for 10th place with a total score of 4-under par

  • 2022: Won the Masters with a total score of 10-under par

  • 2021: Tied for 18th with a total score of 1-under par

  • 2020: Tied for 19th with a total score of 6-under par

Tiger Woods odds to win Masters 2024

Woods, a five-time champion, has +10,000 odds to win the 2024 Masters Tournament on BetMGM, with his odds listed at +13,000 on Draft Kings, as of April 2. His most recent Masters victory was in 2019. Woods withdrew from the 2023 Masters, ending his tournament at 9-over par.

When Tiger Woods won the Masters in 2005, his pre-tournament odds were +350. Since then, Woods' shortest odds to win a Masters came in 2008 when he was listed at +130 prior to the first round. Woods finished the tournament in second place, three strokes behind winner Trevor Immelman.

In 2007, Woods entered the tournament at +150 to win it all. He finished tied for second, two strokes off from champion Zach Johnson.
