From which schools have the Boston Celtics drafted the most over the years?

With the 2021 NBA draft inching closer every day that passes in the 2020-21 NBA season — itself drawing to a close — attention turns to the annual event that has seen the Celtics draft hundreds of players across the course of its seven-decade history.

The list of players selected by the Celtics is too long to recount, but there have been a number of schools the franchise has tended to favor. Some of them have been fairly predictable, like the factory of NBA players that has been the University of Kentucky over the decades. But others may surprise even the astute historians of the Celtics.

With all that said, let’s take a look at which schools have been tapped by Boston more than three times over the years of its storied existence.
