One Make-A-Wish kid’s wish was to meet New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley. He ended up getting an entire day with the star.

During an NFL draft party at Make-A-Wish New Jersey, where the Giants announced their fourth-, fifth- and sixth-round picks, 14-year-old Jared was called up to the stage and asked to state his wish.

As he said he wanted to meet Barkley, the reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year came up from behind the stage and wrapped his arm around the teenager.

Once introductions were made, Barkley, who has worked with this organization before, told Jared he had an entire day planned for the two of them.

“I don’t want you to just be able to meet me,” Barkley said. “I’ve already got something planned out on your whole day. Whatever you want to do, go to Six Flags, whatever you dream of, me and you, just go have fun.”

Per MonroeNow, Jared will “spend an exciting weekend with the team at a practice and home game – a VIP treatment the Giants have continued to provide to wish children like Jared for years.”
