S Ryan Neal ruled out for remainder of Saints game

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ defensive depth has gotten even thinner on Sunday against the Saints.

Bucs safety Ryan Neal took a bump on New Orleans’ first drive, and he left the game while being evaluated for a concussion. The team later announced that Neal will remain out for the game, perhaps signifying that he was unable to pass concussion protocol after being attended to by trainers.

Tampa Bay has already been marred by defensive injuries, especially in the secondary. The team is without starting corner Jamel Dean and without backup corner Derrek Pitts Jr.

Bucs corner and safety Dee Delaney is currently in for Neal and will now remain for the rest of the matchup Sunday.
