[DRAMATIC MUSIC]

JARED QUAY: Yo, I am so hyped right now. That's our first look at football GOAT Lionel Messi sporting his new Paris Saint-Germain threads. Messi has spent 21 years with Barcelona. He signed with the team when he was 13 years old. Yo, that should be illegal.

Messi flew to Paris to ink his two-year, $41-million-per-year contract. Messi went [INAUDIBLE] with PSG fans losing their collective minds. And if you aren't big on soccer, this is like Tom Brady leaving New England and joining the Bucs or when Michael Jordan left the Bulls and went to the Wizards. Well, hopefully for Messi, it's more Brady joining Tampa because MJ wasn't that good on the Wizards.

Straight out of Washington is Russell Westbrook. The LA native had his first presser as a Laker yesterday, and Russ tackled the question we all are asking ourselves.

- How old are they?

JARED QUAY: Come on, bro. We already know the lineup is geriatric as hell. We want to know how this old-time all-star squad is gonna be able to share the ball.

RUSSELL WESTBROOK: LeBron is one of the best players to play this game, and his ability to be able to kind of do everything on the floor allows me to be able to just figure it out.

JARED QUAY: Just to clarify, Russ. You're trying to say that you're gonna pass the ball to LeBron and then chill in the backcourt?

RUSSELL WESTBROOK: There's many different ways you can impact the game without having the ball in your hands, and I've been able to do that for many years. And I will figure it out.

JARED QUAY: For the Lakers' sake, I hope Russ and the gang can figure it out a bit better than former guard Dennis Schroder. The reason why Russell Westbrook is a Laker right now is because Dennis reportedly turned down LA's offer of a four-year, $84 million contract extension last season.

All right, all right, I get it. You want to test the free agency, see how many fish are in the sea. So did Dennis pass this test? Word is he's signing a one-year deal with the Celtics for $5.9 million.

- Ouch.

JARED QUAY: Let me break this down. Dude is getting a $6 million paycheck for one year, but he could have had a four-year, $21-million-a-year deal. Yo, that's got to be a huge whiff right there, man. That's probably the worst deal in sports since the Mets paid Bobby Bonilla. Actually, Bobby Bonilla, that's a hit for him. But the Mets were the won that whiffed because I don't know why you're still paying a dude that ain't playing.
