Roger McCreary is moving up NFL draft boards
Auburn cornerback Roger McCreary is moving up NFL draft boards.
He’s slowly been catching the eyes of many scouts and proving that his decision to return to Auburn for another season was the right move.
Matt Miller of The Draft Scout Newsletter wrote about McCreary in his Midseason Big Board.
He ranked McCreary as the number 18 player in the 2022 NFL draft and had this to say.
Few cornerbacks have had a bigger season than Roger McCreary. He’s a long, athletic, tough cornerback with the man coverage skills to be a sticky problem for NFL wide receivers. One area scout I talked to compared his game to Tre’Davious White’s coming out of LSU.
He ranked McCreary as the second-best corner in the class behind LSU’s Derek Stingley Jr.
